This is my 1952 Logan 11" x 24" metal lathe. It sports a 2.25" x 8TPI
spindle with a 1 3/8" through hole. I've added a 1.5HP DC motor on top
of the headstock and it is powered by a Variac which gives me 0 - 1800 RPM
spindle speed. |

Enco Mill/Drill. This has been a real workhorse for me for the past 10
years. For the price, I don't think you can beat one of these.
Of course, it's the only mill I've ever owned, so maybe I just don't know
any better! |

I built this 2" x 48" Belt grinder from a 1hp, 3450 RPM pool pump. The
pulleys are made of short sections of 4" steel pipe welded to a disk which
in turn has a hub welded in it. Each welded pulley was chucked into my
Metal lathe and turned true with a slight crown to keep the belt centered. |

This is a small tool and cutter grinder I made. It sports a 1hp DC
motor from a treadmill and is reversible. The chasis for this grinder
is a piece of 4" channel steel. |

A small lathe toolbit grinder made from a 1/2hp pool pump. I use steel
backed green silicon carbide whiles on it exclusively. |

My machinist toolbox. Made from left over walnut from a bedroom set I
built for the misses. there is a 1/2" thick sheet of plate glass on
top that I use for a surface plate. |

This an overarm router unit I built to attach to my table saw. It
houses a Dewalt 1/2" chuck router. The router can be moved up and down
like a drill press. |

Here's a shot of my 1950's vintage 10" table saw. I bought it used
about 15 years ago and have only replaced the arbor bearings in that time.
